Text Box: Beginning Thursday February 7, 2008, A Work in Progress, LLC will be offering one hour family workshops.  The workshops will be from 11:00am – 12:00pm each Thursday at  6011 E Hanna Ave Suite M, Indianapolis, Indiana  46203.  
These workshops are designed to give families information on various topics.  Each workshop will be presented by an occupational therapist and a speech language pathologist.  The cost is $50 for each adult that attends the workshop.  This fee includes handouts related to the presented topic.  You will need to arrange child care for your children.  A minimum of 3 attendees will be required.

 This session will provide strategies to become an effective political advocate for families affected by autism. It will include step-by-step Text Box: instructions on contacting legislators, corresponding with staff members, setting appointments, meeting preparation, making your meetings as productive as possible and how best to follow up on your requests.
